About Helmet Head Design
Airbrush Designs by Helmet Head was founded in 2002.
Bruce (owner/painter) started Helmet Head when his son, Max, decided that he wanted to have his goalie mask custom painted. After making some calls, and finding out that it would cost $800 and take 22 weeks to paint blue flames, Bruce thought, “I could do that faster, and for much less”. After doing some research and purchasing all of the equipment, the designing and painting began. Max was very happy with his custom painted mask… and so were some other goalies’ parents.
This lead to another helmet for a friend’s son, then another for a friend of a friend; and Helmet Head was born.
Out of a love for arts, Airbrush Designs by Helmet Head was founded, which allowed Bruce to meld his artistic abilities with his ability to communicate with people. Bruce prides himself on being able to produce art based on the ideas and concepts conveyed to him by his customers.
Whether clients know exactly what they want, or all they know is a colour and a theme, Bruce is able to transform their helmets, motorcycles, golf clubs, computer towers, or anything else into what they imagined, using environmentally friendly water based paints.
